OVERVIEW

FCN-2000L-2 optical receiver converts the optical signal from the headend into CATV RF. FCN-2000L-2 is designed for indoor Fiber to the Building (FTTB) application. The compact housing includes 100~240V AC power supply, Optical receiving unit with microprocessor controlled RF AGC, RF amplifier and distribution board.  FCN-2000L-2 can be installed inside the building without any extra line amplifier.  The RF level of each of the two RF output can be 42dBmV (at 0dB attenuation pad).  The stable RF level enables the field installation and maintenance easier.

Test condition:

Input 59 PAL-D channels or 77 NTSC channels at the bandwidth of 550MJHz to a standard transmitter, where the standard transmitter is followed by 10Km fiber, an adjustable attenuator and FCN-200L optical receiver. Measure the CNR, CTB, CSO and each port RF level when the optical input power is -1dBm/-2dBm/-3dBm/-4dBm/-5dBm/-6dB.
